Kopparai Thengai Rice is a popular South Indian variety rice made by grated coconut with spices and then mixing them with cooked rice. It’s very easy to make and at the same time flavorful and delicious. This variety rice recipe is made using dry coconut, pepper and cumin seeds.
Cook the rice for 3-4 whistles. Spread the rice in a wide plate and allow this to cool completely.
Heat the pan and dry roast red chili, black pepper an cumin seeds. Roast until it gets golden brown.
Add the instant mix and slowly mix it. Now put it over the rice and switch off the flame.
Add some fresh curry leaves. Add the ghee and mix well.
Kopparai sadam is ready to serve.
