Laddu or ladoo is a round-shaped sweet originating from the Indian subcontinent. Laddus are primarily made from flour, fat (ghee/butter/oil) and sugar.
Gram flour is the major ingredient but can also be made with semolina (Ravai).
For added flavor and richness in taste, drained raisins and chopped nuts are used. Laddus are often served during festive or religious occasions.
Special Laddu : Sugar Syrup, besan, crushed saffron, cardamoms crushed to powder , ghee , Coconut Oil, Boondi.
