Ingredients:
Horse gram
Dhania/Coriander seed
Toor Dal
Turmeric Powder
Pepper
Jaggery
Jeera/Cumin
Red Chilli
Asafoetida
Curry Leaves
Cooking Directions:
- Soak tamarind in an adequate amount of water and take the liquid extract
- In a vessel, heat Mustard seeds, Cumin seeds, Curry leaves & Red chili
- Add Tamarind extract water, Kollu Rasam Podi, Turmeric powder, Salt & Asafoetida.
- Boil in medium flame till raw smell goes off.
- Boil till frothy and switch off the flame.
- Cover and remains for 30 minutes for the best taste.
- Serve with plain rice and any side dish you like.
